Jira Issues Calendar: It used to remove resolved issues but now they still still showing.

We use the calendar to track issues that are in projects that are not software oriented. It used to be that when an issue was resolved, they would not show up on the calendar (which is what we want). We only care about unresolved issues. However, resolved issues are still showing up and there is nothing visual to differentiate them from the unresolved ones. This is fairly recent. Why is this happening?
