Jira Issue View Export to Word attached image is not viewable

When exporting issue from Issue View with:

• Print - comment with image is viewable
• Export Word - the image in comment is not viewable

I first discovered this in Jira Software data center version 9.12;
However, I found this is happening for Jira software cloud and JSM cloud too.

Is this a common bug?

Snapshot above open the Word doc using WPS Office.
To further clarify, I export the issue to Word on another PC and open it with MS Word.
It is still the same.

Error: The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed, or deleted. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location.

Update: Seems this problem is in Confluence long term backlog, the same thing should apply to Jira Software issue view export.

Will explore if Better PDF Exporter for Jira Cloud would make a difference.

@Test HR I am one of the developers of the Better PDF Exporter app you mentioned.

I just wanted to tell that using our app the images embedded in comments will be present after exported to PDF.
