If you try to import a project from a Jira backup, made with the same version of Jira (5.1.6), jira will create missing users but it will not set their password correctly.

I checked the two databases and the the hashes are different.

Hi Sorin,

It is weird, project import function should import the hashes as well. Alternatively, you can reset the passwords per the instructions of this documentation.
