Jira Filter Layout Issue: Missing Detail View / Split Screen Toggle

Hi Support Team,

Since Friday, my Jira search page layout (JQL/Filter results) has permanently changed to a full List View. The toggle button in the top-right corner to switch back to the "Detail View" (split-screen layout with the list on the left and issue details on the right) is completely missing.

Could you please advise if there's a way to restore the split-screen view?

Hi @Daniel Deak, you're not missing a toggle, this is intentional. Atlassian replaced the old split-screen detail view with Preview Panels across Global Search and List views, and there's no native setting to switch back. The only route to the old layout right now is the temporary site opt-out Atlassian links in their rollout announcement (a Jira admin submits the form). It's a closing window as the rollout wraps, so do it soon if you want it. For the permanent admin control, vote and watch JRACLOUD-96809 (In Progress). Preview Panels rollout and opt-out form

Atlassian has an ongoing incident regarding the search functionality.
It can be from there.

But for me, it is available now. I think you can wait for the incident to be resolved, then check again.
