Until around two Weeks we cant edited the category field anymore.
What can't you add, do you have the correct permissions.
Where you on a standard or premium trail and you have no reverted to the free instance, this limits functionality.
Is the field still on screens used in the project you are working?
Can you provide more context and screenshots?

What do you mean Category field? Is it customfield, which is available in the ticket, but you can not edit it?
