Jira Data Center boards rendering incorrectly for some users

We are experiencing an intermittent rendering issue with Jira Software boards in Jira Data Center 11.3.1.

For some users, cards on the board/backlog are displayed incorrectly, with content overlapping and making the board difficult to use. The same boards are displayed normally for other users, including Jira administrators.

We have observed the following:

• Multiple users are affected.
• The issue occurs on different Jira Software projects.
• It occurs in both Chrome and Edge.
• Chrome Incognito mode and Ctrl+F5 do not resolve the issue.
• The same affected boards render correctly for me in Chrome on both node1 and node2.
• Some other boards render normally even for affected users.
• The issue appears to be intermittent in some cases.
• A Full re-index was recently performed successfully in Production, but we are not sure whether this could be related.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue where Jira Software board cards overlap or render incorrectly only for some users? What would be the recommended troubleshooting steps?

Do you have custom priority icons? In your picture, it seems like the priority is glitching, but only for Medium?

For troubleshooting, if you have a user switcher, you could switch to the user who is facing the problem and see if you experience the same issue.

Since it affects some users and not others, I’d check user-specific settings and permissions first. The fact that Incognito and different browsers show the same problem makes a browser cache issue less likely. I’d also compare the affected users with an admin on the same board and check whether the problem follows a particular account or node.
