Jira Dashboard Question - Toggle filters using button??

I've built an Information Radiator template using fairly simple Jira filters [totaling 5 individual metrics tracked]. The board is completely based on labeling tickets for the desired initiative but I will use the same template for other things by simply changing the labels used. Does anyone know of a way that I could create a drop-down or button that would allow me to toggle the filter used on all the gadgets at once time? [in effect saves them from switching to one of the other board]. Any help is appreciated :)

You cannot do it without an app. I am using Custom Chart for Jira which allows you to do this. Here is an example were the user can pick the time period they are interested in seeing results for.
