It's a common error to see with Jira in versions 7.1 and higher. It happens because the Jira application server is unable to connect to the network address for the Jira site itself. There are a lot of different possible causes.
Hi Andy, I followed the link you sent above, I installed the gadgets, but it does not work; it still shows the same thing on the board and also the dashboard shows all names of the gadget I installed, make the dashboard looks weird. I have to uninstall the gadgets.
Any idea? What did I do wrong?

You will have to be able to edit the dashboard first. If you can edit the dashboard, then you can see the Add Gadget button at the top of that page. If you can't edit the dashboard, then you might not have permissions. Might need to reach out to your Jira Admin so that they can resolve that aspect.

I am able to edit the dashboard and added the gadgets. But after adding them then all the gadgets installation information shows up on the dashboard and make the board looking weird and the problem exists, not resolving.
Any idea?
