Hello,

My Jira Cloud site (tagami2000.atlassian.net) was deactivated due to inactivity on Feb 8.

Today (March 5), when I try to access the site it shows:
"Your Atlassian Cloud site is currently unavailable."

This site was used for a personal project and contains important issues and boards.

Since it has been less than 30 days since deactivation, I would like to know if it is possible to restore or reactivate the site.

Is there any way to recover the site or access the stored issues and boards?

Thank you.

hello @이태겸 ,

Welcome to community :)

We have created a ticket with our billing team and details would have been received for the same.

The team will further check and update you

Thank you,

Hi @이태겸

If it's less then 30 days, it probably can be restored.

Remember "free" is not really free, guidelines apply.

I have requested assistance for you from Atlassian Support, this can take up to two business days, keep an eye on this post, as they will reach out via this post.

@Arkadiusz Wroblewski small adjustment, "Atlassian will purge the content.

Hello @이태겸

Yep it can often be restored, and if deactivation was on Feb 8 and today is March 5, you’re still in the “recently deactivated” window where recovery is usually possible.

What to do:

If you’re the site/billing admin (self-service)

Log in to admin.atlassian.com

Go to Billing → Subscriptions

Check the Inactive tab

If you see your Jira subscription/site there, use Reactivate

If you don’t see Billing / no Reactivate button

Then you don’t have the right permissions (or it’s past self-service).
→ You’ll need Atlassian Support to restore it. Provide:

Site URL: tagami2000.atlassian.net

Deactivation date: 2026-02-08

The admin email used for the site

Say you need the issues + boards back

Important warning:

Don’t wait. After a certain retention period, Atlassian can purge the site data and recovery becomes unlikely.

Good Luck :)

Hello,

Thank you for the information and for your help with this issue.

I confirm that I am the site admin, and the site URL is:
tagami2000.atlassian.net

I hope the site and its data can still be restored, since it has been less than 30 days since the deactivation.

Please let me know if any additional information is needed from my side. I will keep an eye on this post for updates.

Thank you.
