Hi,

For compliance we have to do regular restore tests of our systems. By the looks of it Jira Cloud backup is 'all-in-one'. And to restore it through Backup Manager I should create a new account. Because I don't want to affect the current installation in any way. This is just a test.

Having said that if I restore (full package from Backup Manager) on a new cloud account, will that affect the current installation in any way? like DNS or something else? I mean does it keep the original name/ URL after restore on the new subscription/account?

Hi @Infra Structure

No it doesn't affect. it just carries a dump of the data into a new instance. One of things you could be worried about (but not really an issue)  is  add-on data which might not work well on the new instance. For URLs, you will prompt for the changes during restore.
