Jira Cloud for Excel - Cannot export more than 1000 rows. It stops populating then ultimately gives the error "Oops....Something went wrong. Try importing again". I have tried it using Excel online as well as the Excel desktop version.
The version of Jira Cloud for Google Sheets exports more than 1000 rows with no problem.
Hello @Jason Gauntz
Welcome to the community.

Atlassian had a change request to change the limit, but they have marked it as "Won't Do"
The limit you are referring to is when you are export to Excel directly for Jira - and I am aware of that limit. I am using the Excel addin "Jira Cloud for Excel" and it should allow you to export more than 1000 rows as the same plugin for Google Sheets I am able to export 50,000+ rows.

So far my searches are not yielding any results about limits or problems with exporting more than 1000 issues using the plug-in. Unfortunately I don't have the plug-in so I can't test it myself.

As this plugin is an Atlassian plugin how do I go about reporting a defect to Atlassian so that it can be addressed?
