Hi Dear Colleagues,
I have the following situation.
Can my base Jira URL have sub-domains for the portal?
For example, in my company, I have 3 different companies, for which I want to provide different URLs.
For example, my base URL is jirax.atlassian.net.
For group companies have help.project1.atlassian.net, help.project2.atlassian.net, help.project3.atlassian.net.
But when opening the above mentioned URLs, it should not redirect to the Base URL.
Thanks.
Hi, @Gor Greyan
It's not possible to use subdomains in Atlassian — they don't support that functionality. However, you can create multiple separate instances instead.
For example:
jirax.atlassian.net
(main instance)project1-jirax.atlassian.net
project2-jirax.atlassian.net
project3-jirax.atlassian.net
Each of these would be a standalone instance and cannot be merged or shared with others later, so it's important to plan accordingly. They will also have separate configurations, users, etc...
Dear @Evgenii
Thanks for the answer. But that is not fit for me. I can't do it via different instances, as I need one instance, which will have different sub-domains for the Portal.
But thanks for the reply.

There is another one solution, which suits you requirements, but you'll need yor own domain.
Here you can read, how you can configure it, to use with Atlassian Cloud instance:
