Hello,
my name is Elif and i`m a working IT-student in a big pharma-company in Switzerland. We are very interested in using the software Jira for our requirements-management. But according to very strict pharmaceutical GMP guidelines and the law, the software we will use have to fulfill some requirements.
I have found out that the cloud is based on the AWS data center. My question now is whether the cloud is separated into customer bases? That means, do we as a pharma company then have our "own" place on the ASW server? Or is that mixed with other customers?
Thank you for your help!
The question is what do you mean by "place"?
In AWS and generally in cloud, they achieve efficiency by shared resources, so your Jira instance will run on the same physical hardware like other users' instances.
But, it shouldn't matter too much from practical aspects (I understand that compliance in pharmaceutical may not agree with me, but this is how it works).
Thank you very much for your answer! That's how it is: Pharma and IT doesn't fit together every time :)
I will notice that information while validating the system.
