Jira Cloud API "You don't have permissions to create issues in this project."

Hi All. I want to call my Jira instance through Postman. I've followed this tutorial precisely by:
1. Adding Basic Auth credentials including my API token and username
2. Using the v3 request as described here
3. Making sure I have read/write permissions to my project
4. Making sure my project Id is the correct one.

Welcome to the community!

All the steps that you have mentioned look good and I don't see any problem why you are not able to create the issue.

Hope you are sending the request to the correct url.  If you don't mind, can you post the url here?

Also, can you check and verify again whether you have provided the correct credentials?
