Where does the Group By -> Queries in the Jira Board configuration comes from?

From the swimlane options in your board configuration. You should be able to find (and configure) those in Board Settings > Layout > Swimlanes.
Hope this helps!
Sorry if this has been an old question. But I think @Felipe Rodrigues indicates the new group by features on Kanban board not the swimlane. I noticed this option 'Group by Queries' but don't know how to use it. Please let us know if you have any suggestions. Thank you.

Hi @Yi Meng
As @Walter Buggenhout has provided, if you go to your Board settings > Layout > Swimlanes
From there, set the Select method to Queries
Then you can "Create swimlanes" defined by queries.
Hope that helps.

Thanks @Jamie Zeidler
So this is group by 'Query' is actually the swim-lane. If we don't choose group by query, then the swim-lane will not show up. Thanks for the response. I was misled by name. I thought I could create the query directly from the group by menu. Thanks again and have a nice day!
