Hello everyone,

I have activated the native integration between Jira and Bitbucket and am running into a minor issue:  Bitbucket builds aren't showing on the associated Jira ticket.

Here's my steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a branch from the Jira ticket
  2. Pull down branch into Eclipse, make edits, and push the commit back (with smart commit message)
  3. Open pull request from Bitbucket to merge the branch into the master
  4. Approve and merge (select the checkbox to delete the branch) the branch
  5. The automated pipeline kicks off and succeeds
  6. The deployment completes successfully

What I see in my ticket:  Commit messages, the pull request, and the deployment.  However, the build section is blank.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Update:  The issue appears only to occur when you are merging branches.  If your YAML file triggers a build on-commit to your branch, that is tracked in Jira.  However, if you open a pull request that will merge to a branch (which also triggers a build on-commit) then the Jira ticket will show the Deployment, but fails to attach the build to the ticket - despite the build metadata having your branch name stickered all over it.

This seems like an oversight in the out-of-the-box integration.

Are there any plans to address this issue? It's still occurring.
