Jira Base URL field is not accepting our URL during initial configuration.

I am trying to get a trial version of confluence running and integrated with Jira. However I am running into a problem at the Connect to Jira step.

It will not accept the url to the Jira server location. The location is local to the windows server. When I enter it I get the following error: This is not a valid URL for Jira 4.3 or later.

Jira is 5.1.4

Base URL should be http://pd-jira5

Solution was to skip this part of the install / Configuration and setup the application links to Jira later on.

Rob, please make sure that http://pd-jira5 is the actual Base URL of your JIRA instance - which is set inside the general configurations page.

Cheers,
