Jira Backup Import

Hello, 

When we import a cloud jira backup to the cloud insatance. Does this mean replacing all the existing data? or only replacing the similar name data?

When you import a backup file, that would replace all the data etc.. in your existing site.

Could you share what use case you are trying to address, based on which there may be different approaches to solve that use case.

Hi!

Yes if you do a "site import" (zip files export) it will replace all the data.

There are other wayt to import data: CSV, Cloud Migration Assistant, ... depending on you use-case.
