Jira Admin Issue

There is no assign admin and we are unable to resolve the issue. How can we reset the admin access?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What type of admin access are you trying to grant?

  1. Administrator for a single project/space
  2. Administrator for the Jira product, able to change global configuration for the product.
  3. Administrator for the product users, able to grant users access to the product
  4. Administrator for Billing, able to change the subscription and add third party apps
  5. Administrator for the Organization, able to change Organization level settings that can affect all products

If your company no longer has a Billing or Organization Admin, you will have to contact Atlassian support to get assistance with addressing that. You can reach out to them for this specific problem by completing the form on this page:

But first check with the technical support team for your company to find out if there truly is nobody that has that level of access.

 

If you still have an Organization Admin, they can grant admin permissions for 1, 2, and 3.
