Jira AD User cannot login anymore

Philipp Schmidt
July 21, 2021

Yesterday, 20.07.2021 the user were login without problem.

today I get an error when a user trying to log in.

I checked the user directory, and my JIRA LDAP authentication user cannot login over Jira. He can log in with some LDAP browser, so the credentials should be correct.

I also added another user and gave him a simple password to erase any mistake with credentials.

I know the error code says it's the wrong password, I can exclude it, the password and username are 100% correct.

I could not determine any other problems.

The same thing goes with confluence, no login here with the same error.

Error Code:

Connection test failed. Response from the server:
[LDAP: error code 49 - 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C090439, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 52e, v4563]; nested exception is javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error code 49 - 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C090439, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 52e, v4563]
