I've been testing Jira 9 and noticed a problem in the way it collapses comments.
Previously in Jira 8, we have Oldest -> Newest, with the oldest comments collapsed.
In Jira 9, the default order changed from Newest -> Oldest. I've configured it to sort globally from Oldest -> Newest. However, the newest comments are getting collapsed instead of the oldest like in Jira 8.
How do we get back the previous behavior?
To answer my own question, support has raised this issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-74466
Hi @David Yu ,
Is this related to what you described?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
No, unrelated. I'm asking about what Atlassian chooses to collapse.
In Jira 8, it collapses my oldest comments.
In Jira 9, it collapses my newest comments which serves no practical purpose I can think of.
