Hi team,
I would like to know jira compatibility with bit bucket tool.
bit bucket current tool version - 6.10
App links version - 7.1.0
Would like to know if it is compatible with jira 9.4. How we can validate from official site ?
What do you think "compatible" means?
You can connect Bitbucket to any version of Jira from 4.0 and above with an application link to Confluence 3+, Bibucket 2+, and and and... This will enable some data exchange between the two linked systems. Exactly how much you get does depend - a Bitbucket 7 might not get as much of the data as it would like from a Jira 4.0 as it would get from a Jira 9.x, but it will get a lot of it.
In other words, the systems are all "compatible" (in the dictionary meaning) across many versions.
Hi @prasad karri ,
The simplest approach for this query to answer is by looking at the release notes. Here is the ref: Jira 9.4 Long Term Support release upgrade guide | Atlassian Support | Atlassian Documentation

@prasad karri, the versions are not compatible enough with Jira 9.4. It would be best if you upgrade them first.
