Jira 7.2.5 is unrecognized by the altassian market place

I have tried both to upgrade to JIRA 7.2.5 as well as installing it from scratch with the same problem.

1) JIRA software is not automatically installed, instead I have to install it from within JIRA in the "Applications" tab is this behaviour intended. Moreover, which is worse, when going to manage plugins I get that "This version of JIRA is unrecognized by the Atlassian Marketplace. It might be a non-standard build or be too new to appear".

Which also means I cannot install plugins from within jira. 

Am I doing anything wrong? Which is the latest stable release of JIRA which will be recognized by JIRA marketplace?

7.2.5 release was canceled: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-7-2-x-release-notes-826896227.html#JIRASoftware7.2.xreleasenotes-7-2-57.2.5-16November2016-Canceled

You should downgrade to any previous version.
