Is there a way to query JIRA to track changes to a story description (either during a sprint or any- time period)

Hi @Subhankar Pal  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What do you mean by "query Jira to track changes to a story description..."?  For example:

  • If you need to see the changes over time, please view the issue and look at the history
  • If you just need visibility to changes, you could watch the issues to be notified of changes.
  • If you need to query with JQL for description changes, that is not possible with out-of-the-box Jira.  You might find a marketplace addon which provides additional reporting for this.

Best regards,
Bill

Thank you Bill ! I was referring to the JQL option and thanks for clarifying the options likely with an add-on, that’s what I thought ! Thanks for clarifying
