Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

JQL finds issues, it has nothing to say about how they are presented in whatever you are reporting them in.

You need to look at the reporting functions - does the one you are using have any grouping functions?

Hi @Janakiraman Perumal,

You can easily get the count by status by using the Issue Statistics gadget.

image.pngIf you want to see the evolution/trend in time of these numbers, try the Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD) gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app. It is highly configurable, supports various calculation methods.

This app offers many other gadgets that you and your team will find useful. Take a look on our blog to make an idea about how this app can help you.

I hope this helps.

Thank you,

Hi @Janakiraman Perumal

As @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- mentions JQL finds information in Jira.

You can look on the marketplace form Atlassian for apps that can provide this information on a dashboard or apps that are able to export information from Jira to a reporting application like PowerBI or else.
