JQL Search does not work after version update

Hi,

After updating Jira server from V8.6 to V8.13, the search doesn't work wherever it should display results. includes filters and dashboards.
the search engine shows an error "An unknown error occurred while trying to perform a search".
the dashboards either, doesn't loading and showing errors instead.

problem solved.

It was a directory permission issue.

The user that runs  jira service did not have write permission into the index directory.

First - Perform full indexing!!

Check the BaseURL once on the general configuration page.

Hi,

I'm unable to perform reindexing and I get the following errors.

Can you remove the index folder and all the plugins folders, restart the server and install back plugins, perform a reindex to see if that fixes the issue?
