JQL Field in a modal dialog issue

Fida Zubair
February 1, 2022

I have made a modal dialog form which contains a jql field. On clicking it, it opens the jql field editor. However, the text field in the editor doesn't allow you to type. But if the form was not in a modal dialog, the jql editor works just fine.

So I would like to know if there is a fix for this issue, as the form I created is a modal dialog (design demands) and I want the jql editor to work irrespective of it

Hi @Fida Zubair

May I know how you are getting the Modal dialog?

It only appears when we need to search for filters but JQL!! I need to know

Screenshot is appreciated!

Thanks,
Pramodh

Im creating jira cloud plugin using react. The atlassian design components provides the modal dialog and I have used it to create a form (https://atlassian.design/components/modal-dialog/examples).

The form as shown below, has the jqlfield, and on the clicking the text, it opens the jqleditor, which doesnt allow you to type into the textfield.
