JMWE post-function not triggered when issue is moved

I have created a post function on the Create transition. This post functions fires correctly when I create an issue directly in the project but if I move an issue from another project into it, it doesn't look like the create transition is used and my post function doesn't fire.

Any ideas on how I can achieve this? 

What transitions can be used for post functions when issues are moved between projects?

Unfortunately, Jira doesn't trigger any transition when you move an issue from one project to another - and certainly not the Create (pseudo-) transition, since no new issue is being created.
