JIRA7 Inline Editing Auto save when click on page

when we are editing a description and change some text on jira ticket, and then click elsewhere on the page, JIRA automatically saves the page even though you didn’t tick the icon to save the updates. is there any way to disable this ?

I don't think you can disable autosaving without disabling inline edit altogether. If you want to disable inline edit and only allow edits in the Edit screen of an issue, you can do that in the admin under System > General Configuration > Edit Settings.

What you call "autosave" is the whole point of inline editing!  It saves what you change without having to go into an edit screen.

Alex's solution of turning it off is the only option.
