JIRA usage statistics

Hi Experts
I looking for a easy way to report on the "growth" of a JIRA instance. For example statistics over time on:

amount of users
amount of projects
amount of issues (maybe even split between issuetypes) 
workflows
etc

I know most of this can be seen in the system info but what I'm after is a nice way to either create a dashboard directly in JIRA or if that's not possible at least be able to export the data to excel in an easy way?

The last resort would obviosly be to manually populate some Confluence page or Excel sheet with this information but I would like to avoid that.
