Hello,

we are having problems with JIRA. More and more often, JIRA throws JAVA exceptions when updating issues. The two most common errors are:

org.ofbiz.core.entity.GenericDataSourceException: Unable to establish a connection with the database. (ORA-28001: the password has expired)

Exception occurred: java.lang.NullPointerException

I reindexed the system but that didn't improve the situation.
I also ran an Integrity check and all the tests passed (even the result for the Health check)

So if I try to go to the log files I get the following error:

Error!
Scan failed

We will really appreciate it if anyone can solve this problem.

You have a problem with your database - you will need to debug why it is saying the password has expired and fix that.

When you are trying to "get to the log files", what are you actually doing?  "error scan failed" is not an error message I would ever expect from logging into the server and opening the log in a text editor
