Hello,

What if a customer is willing to use JIRA on another architecture than x86. Particularly on LinuxONE System. JIRA as a pure java application should run.

What would be the process to test/support this architecture if a customer would like to run it on s390x arch ?

Thank you,

Hi @SebLL

From Atlassian's Supported Platform overview:

Jira is a pure Java-based application and should run on any supported operating system, provided that the JDK / JRE requirements are satisfied.

Not familiar with LinuxOne. But if there is a compatible Java Runtime it might work.
The linked page above, may give you answers.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your Answer @Sloan N_ B_ .  So assuming it can work, what would be the process to have an official support for the s390x architecture in the Supported Platform overview link you provided ?

Thanks,

Sloan

I'd say contact Atlassian ->  https://support.atlassian.com/

I suggest, look for suggestions there. :)
