JIRA opens up in browser even though app is installed

Even though I’ve installed jira application on my iphone 14, the jira tickets of my organization are still getting routed to browser first! This was working fine previously but I believe this could be because of any recent application updates?

PS- I’ve configured jira application on slack.

Im facing the exact same issue in my iphone. jira links open up in safari browser but load the desktop view in it... despite having the app already installed!

Its extremely frustrating to use jira on phone now due to this. Its been over an year since this is happening on iphone - have checked this across multiple devices in our office.

Yes, it is providing an option to open in app but my concern is that in the past, it used to be opening in the app directly and not in the browser!

Have you checked if you are running Jira as a Desktop site?

You would even get an option Open in app if it's opened in mobile browser
