JIRA new issue view does not support making a source code branch

Hello,

JIRA new issue view does not contain the option to allow software developer to create a source code branch to work on this issue. This is supported by the old view. We should add it to the new view. Thanks.

Hi @michelle yang ,

At present, the best fix would be to allow for related development activity to add to the activity tab rather than bring back the source tab.

We've taken a good look at this feature along side the other top JIRA feature requests and unfortunately we won't be able to fit this into the JIRA roadmap for the next 12 months.
