That's not an equivalence Jira does at all.  Story points are not counted as hours (because they are not a measure of time).

You are imposing it in your processes, so to change it for different projects, yes, just change your thinking of the equivalence.

(Or better, stop using story points and use hours instead if that's what you're using them for)

Thanks for your response, Can i set different hours across different projects within same organization pls.?

What do you mean by "set different hours across projects"?  Hours go on to issues, as a measure of how long you estimate or have spent on them.  Not projects.
