JIRA export file generated but browser doesn't trigger download

After the browser sends the POST request, generating the large file takes 10-30 minutes. once generation finishes, the browser is expected to execute window.location to hit the GET download endpoint -- but it never fires, why?

Hi,

I see you are on Data Center? When you say "Jira export" I assume you mean a full backup triggered from the UI?

This is placed on the server in the exports folder. With large exports this is the only way of getting that file, via system acces.
