If we are on the JIRA Software / Standard Plan and our billing period is monthly, how does it work if we might need to cancel our JIRA account in future?
Can we give one month's notice and cancel in a month, as we are not on an annual billing package?
We would like to upgrade to premium, but need to know if we can still cancel within a month, if need be? Your guidance is appreciated.
You should not need to cancel at all you can simply convert to premium. You can change to Premium from your current instance - go to the admin section > Billing > Manage subscriptions and find your Jira product and click the "Change" link. Now, I haven't done this myself so can't attest to how seamless it is but expect it is a simple thing as the premium features exist in the same SW but are not accessible in standard, to my understanding. Further, I can't speak to switching back should that be desired.
