JIRA User database

Hi Community Member,

Being an admin, to keep record of all user internal/external user I maintain Excel sheet which keeps track now of active and inactive users. So its everyday or fortnighlty task to add and delete user and keep a record of them. What I am trying to plan is creating something in JIRA which will have column as below ;

User | User emaild | Capability nameStatus(Active/Inactive)User type(Internal/External) | Access type| Remarks

The reason for this is rather than maintaining a excel I should have above field which will make my task easy. Let me know if its possible in JIRA and if yes then how  should I begin with?

Regards,

Anup Tiwari

I don't think that the native JIRA web interface will give you this view.

But, Better Excel Plugin can easily export user account information from JIRA, and you can also make it periodical and 100% automatic.
