JIRA RECREATING ALL TICKETS

Jira seems to be recreating all closed issues instead of single ticket.

This recreate issue is part of the Issue Templates for Jira app by Deviniti. In their documentation: https://deviniti.com/support/addon/cloud/issue-templates/latest/recreate-issue/ it states:

If you recreate an issue A-1 from project A to project B, all children of A-1 and linked issues from project A will be also recreated in project B. Remaining issues that may be linked from other projects will be recreated in these projects.

Welcome to the community.

The "Recreate Issue" option you are seeing is not native Jira functionality. That must have been added to your environment when a third party app was installed.

You will need to consult with the Jira Administrators for your system to find out what app has added that functionality, and refer to the documentation for that app for an explanation.
