JIRA OnDemand - Pages Not Rendering Correctly in Firefox

I am using Firefox 16.0.2. I have just set up a new instance of JIRA OnDemand. However, I have found that pages are not rendering properly, and, in particular, the dropdowns at the top of the screen do not appear when the button is clicked.

On other screens (see screenshot attached) the information that should be on the lefthand side of the page is missing.

It seems to be OK in IE8, and I have no problems in JIRA Hosted.

Do you know what might be causing this behaviour, please?

Clearing cookies and the cache (see http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-look-wrong-or-appear-differently#w_clear-the-cookies-and-cache) seems to have done the trick!
