JIRA NoSuchMethodError while trying to send a notification

Hi,

After updating JIRA to version 5.2.7. We're getting the following error when attempting to send a notification

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.atlassian.jira.mail.IssueMailQueueItem.getTemplateId()

Can you help me please?

Hi Victor,

Could you confirm if prior the upgrade you have Field Security Plugin in JIRA? After upgrading this error occurs when Field Security Plugin is outdated reflecting on the mail system.

Hi Victor,

Could you attach the rest of the error, just to be sure? I've seen similar errors where this happens due to the Field Security Plugin. It is possible that the version installed in your server is not compatible with JIRA 5.2.7 - to fix this, simply upgrade the plugin to version 1.4.12_52.
