JIRA = JIRA WAR 6.3 + JIRA 7.3.6 ?

Marc Romero Bosch May 23, 2017

Hi all,
We have a rare environment (I think).
We have a jira 6.3.15 with WAR distribution (JIRA A), and other jira 7.3 (last version) (JIRA B).

We want to merge JIRA A and B in one.

So... Which Is the way to do it?

I think we have to migrate/upgrate JIRA A to the latest version (same as another JIRA B) and then import the project from JIRA B to new JIRA A.

I'm wrong?

A lot of thanks

The WAR distribution shouldn't matter too much, unless you've heavily customised it.

Your idea about the route you should take is absolutely correct - upgrade A to 7.3, then use project import.
