what are the confirmation plans accessible for coordinating an outsider application with Jira 4.3. Clearly, getting username and secret word from client sounds silly. Likewise, I understand that oauth confirmation is accessible just from variant 5. If you don't mind tell me. Much obliged.

PS. I'm not searching for building up a module or utilizing rest version5. I'm quite recently attempting to pull information from jira utilizing rest programming interface variant 4.4.1.

Jira 4 supports basic (username/password) only, from memory.  Without add-ons, anyway.

You should upgrade it to a secure and supported version, then you'll be able to use Oauth.
