JIRA - Inline editing from dashboard

Is anyone familiar with a plugin that enables inline editing issues directly from the dashboard?

I am also looking for a similar capability. Is it possible to develop a dashboard gadget with this capability?

I would like to be able to have the gadget display all issues for the developer and let them perform an in-line edit of remaining time
