JIRA Board User Removal after all tickets have been closed and marked done

Hi, 

I am unable to remove a user from the JIRA Board after closing all of his tickets. Using the JQL query, I mass updated the status of his tickets to done but the assignee icon still appears.

I also revoked the users access hoping that would work but neither have been successfull.

Hi Rajiv,

Are the issues still showing on the board even though they are done? The icon for the user will show up as long as any cards on the boards have the user on the card.

The issue persists. I have moved all of the users tickets to 'Done' and also did so in the 'Advanced Search' area using the JQL query but I still see their name appearing as shown in the attached screenshot

Maybe change the assignee on all of the Done tickets to another user.
