JIRA Attachment Not Opening - Unreadable Content in Word or Excel
I have to copy multiple issues in JIRA from Project Space A to Project Space B. Some of these issues have multiple attachments as well.
As JIRA does not supports bulk cloning - First I am exporting all the issues from Project Space A in a CSV File, and then using Bulk Upload via CSV to import them again in Project Space B.
The 'Attachment/s' column in the Bulk Upload CSV File - has the Attachment URL from Project Space A.
Bulk Upload is successful and I am able to see all the attachments in Project Space B. Even I can download the attachments. The problem occurs when I am opening the attachment file.
For MS-Word/Excel Attachments - the error says "Unreadable content". Do you want to recover the contents .click Yes? Even on Clicking Yes - the file does not get opened.
Need your suggestions how to get this issue fixed ?
Is there a better way to copy issues with attachments from one project space to another ?
