JIRA 6.1.9 : upgrade to 6.2, 6.3 or 6.4

JIRA 6.1.9 : upgrade to 6.2, 6.3 or 6.4

Hi,

I have JIRA 6.1.9 and wonder which upgrade path to choose :

1) upgrade to next major release 6.2.7

2) upgrade directly to 6.3.15

2) upgrade directly to 6.4.14

If you have any experience please share it with me. What kind problems I can encounter during different upgrade paths ?

6.1 to 6.4 should work fine. But test it, and if you have any issues, plan for 6.1 -> 6.2 -> 6.4 instead. I've only ever had problems with infrastructure changes and add-ons when going from 6.1 to 6.4.

The testing on 6.1 -> 6.4 worked. No need to hit 6.3 if you don't need it.
