Issues have disappeared from Backlog but can still be seen in roadmap and plans

I created a large number of issues in the backlog each under their respective epic.  I generated a roadmap and a plan where I can see the issues.  I also updated workflows and created separate teams.  Once this was complete I went back to backlogs and now all of my issues are gone, and each epic says it has 0 issues.  When I go to the roadmap the issues are still there.  No matter how I try and reset filters, I never see any of the issues I created in the backlog.

Start by checking your board configurations. Your new workflow steps might not be added to your board, which could be the reason the issues disappeared.

You should also check your filter. Are the ticket appearing on the search page when you when you query using the same board filter?
