Issues disappear from backlog

I am using Classic Project with Scrum template. I have created a custom workflow for our project and then later on added 2 more statuses i.e. On Hold and Blocked in the workflow which can be initiated from all statuses. When I am transitioning the issues to one of the new statuses, the issues are disappearing from the backlog. E.g. Transitioning from To Do to On Hold and the issue disappears from the backlog.

Am I missing some steps or configuration after adding the new statuses.

Hi @dhruv.chheda ,

I guess you're referring to the board instead of the backlog and that probably the newly created statuses aren't mapped to any board column - see https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-columns/
