Upgrading to newer version of JIRA ( 5.1.x). Page is not rendering correctly in IE9. Works fine in Chrome.

Noticed similar issues reported in the past but did not see any solution. Any fix, resultion or workaround for the problem?

I've been trying to do the same encapsulation of Jira (5.2) in an ExtJS window/panel. Using the straight forward way of doing an iframe fails, but serving both jira and pyramid/extjs off Apache doing mod_proxy I'm now happily running jira inside ExtJS. Mind you - this is using Firefox, Chrome and Safari remains to be tested.

Hi, according to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-20988 and similar tests it doesn't work and it's not meant to work. It's been broken for a while.

There was a similar issue https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/93050/running-jira-in-iframe-breaks-jira-drop-down-menus.
